Visited Royal Fort Gardens (Bristol University) at the weekend and was really impressed with the new spaces that have been created at the top of the hill there, and the new artwork 'Hollow' described as a modernist grotto

Agree, very impressive and imaginative reorganisation of the spaces - in what amounts to a public space unknown to most Bristolians. Interesting use of gabion walls etc and group of single park seats. We should be trying single and twin seat groups in our Parks? Have seen these in Swedish parks - very well used.

The Hollow sculpture well tucked away and intriguing. It will look less impressive when it weathers grey on the outside?
