Draft Housing Strategy & Public Consultation

I have looked at this and they say they will deliver approx 620 new affordable homes per year between 2015 and 2019 (compared with apparently nearly 300 per year between 2010 and 2015 - though I couldn't find the source for that) and that standards mustn't be sacrificed, though new forms of construction and possibly smaller dwellings for single person households are suggested.

But there is nothing specific on how this will be done. IE either in terms of sourcing funding, CPO ing land or setting more stringent planning thresholds and percentages.

I would be interested in further detail if anyone from BCC can comment.
