I love the video, 'Now that's what I call a conservation area'. Was it made by a Bristolian (you)?
In a way, it is the obverse view of the one I present in my photos of Stokes Croft on this website. I was focusing on the buildings. The maker of this film injects the area with vitality, not really concerned at all with the varied nature of the architecture - which is all largely out of sight above the camera's viewpoint. Put the two together - a thriving multicultural, multi-ethnic community and a richly diverse architectural heritage and you have really created an area that has the potential to be the most vibrant and visually exciting in the whole of Bristol.
