Milan's unfinshed Bosco Verticale (Vertical Forest) is the world’s tallest example of living architecture, with two towers lifting hundreds of trees above Milan’s streets. It is already being hailed as a real world example of living architecture, but not everyone is sure of its success.

The two towers that make up Milan’s 65 million euro Bosco Verticale will be covered in 900 trees, the…

Hello Stephen,

I love the video, 'Now that's what I call a conservation area'. Was it made by a Bristolian (you)?

In a way, it is the obverse view of the one I present in my photos of Stokes Croft on this website.  I was focusing on the buildings. The maker of this film injects the area with vitality, not really concerned at all with the varied nature of the architecture - which is all largely out of sight above the camera's viewpoint. Put the two together - a thriving multicultural, multi-ethnic community and a richly diverse architectural heritage and you have really created an area that has the potential to be the most vibrant and visually exciting in the whole of Bristol.
