Inspiring great place-making
I'm a retired Biology/Science teacher, interested in Bristol's urban wildlife, particularly its insects.
However, I enjoy photography, and like to record the wildlife of my local park, St Andrews and the amazingly varied architecture of the local Gloucester and Cheltenham Road.
The conversion of the old Bristol North swimming baths site on the Gloucester Road into a Health Centre with attached library is proving to be very interesting. The contractors, Chatsworth Homes have kindly organised conducted tours round the site on roughly monthly intervals, so it has been possible to provide a photographic record of some of the major (and minor) structural changes during the conversion.
